Dead Letter Bureau began with two things we’ve always shared: a love of mysteries and a love of spending time together.
Like many couples, we've spent countless evenings watching detective shows, true crime documentaries, crime thrillers, and mystery films while trying to solve the case before the characters did.
We've always been fascinated by the details that most people miss. The witness statement that doesn't quite fit. The missing piece of evidence. The contradiction hidden in plain sight. The clue that changes everything once you notice it.
Over the years, we found ourselves wishing there was a way to experience those stories instead of simply watching them unfold on a screen. We wanted something we could spread out on a table, examine with our own hands, and solve together.
That's what inspired Dead Letter Bureau.
